It promotes dairy career and education opportunities for students (years 7-11) in the dairy industry.Over forty SA schools participate in the program with local dairy farms providing calves for the schools. The schools also use local dairy industry representatives to help them learn more about the dairy industry and careers.
Moo’in Transfer project
South Australia’s own Mount Compass Area School won the inaugural Dairy Australia Moo’in Transfer project.
The school was selected to design a short advertisement promoting dairy careers. Students from the school earned the honour with their script for a 75-second commercial explaining why the best and the brightest should choose a dairy career.
